Installation:
The program is anything but difficult to download and just pauses for a moment to introduce. I didn’t have any issues, simple easy steps and you’ve the data recovery software free recovering your important data.

Usage:
The recovery software has a perfect design that is very straight forward to explore. The first thing I noticed was the absence of a menu bar. Rather, there are only a couple of symbols in the upper right corner like input, import check status, menu, minimize etc. From the menu symbol, you can access to everything. No complex settings to trouble with, which is truly advantageous. Beginning from “Home” window you can pick the description or type of files you want to recover like illustrations, email, sound, video, etc. On the following screen, you can pick the area of your hard drive (or any connected drives) to seek through.

Types of scans:
Basically two types, a Quick and a Deep Scan.
When you tap on “Scan” in the base right corner, the recovery software does a genuine Quick Scan. For me, it took around three to four minutes. Most of the time Quick Scan finds the file you’re looking for but in case you do not, then there is a much better and advanced option of Deep scan. At least a 100 times more efficient than the quick one, may take some additional time (normal a few hours) but worth waiting for. By any means, if you feel it’s taking any longer than you’d like, you can discontinue it. If I’d describe the quality of the deep scan, it could be the best explanation that I stopped it at only 12% completion and this file recovery software had found a heap of deleted files. These files can be sorted by their types which is really helpful in order to find the desired files quickly. Read more….
