Here’s your first look at Michael Fassbender in ‘Alien: Covenant’

Ridley Scott is still shooting Alien: Covenant down in Australia, and the folks at 20th Century Fox, who are behind the movie, are continuing to trickle out official production images as the production continues through. Following a look at Katherine Waterston‘s character in a recent set pic, we now have a first-look at Michael Fassbender in the movie (above).

Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Jussie Smolett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez, and Billy Crudup are also amongst the cast of the film, which is a direct sequel to Prometheus, and a prequel to the Alien movies.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Scott returns to the universe he created in “Alien” with “Alien: Covenant,” the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with “Prometheus” — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
